Gentlemen,

Attached is proposed transition of names as we continue to move forward into Adventure Guides this year.  I think Morris has done a great job with this...please read over and be prepared to discuss at the Tribal Council mtg. on Feb. 9.

I am looking  forward to meeting with you then!  Feel free to contact me or Morris with any questions you may have...thanks!
Sincerely,

Lisa, here 'ya go!

I would like to have this in place and voted on at the next Base Camp Meeting on Feb 9th, with a big roll out at Unicoi...Banners, new hats, the works. This will set up the final step in transition at High Harbor.

My thinking (a bit rambling) is we need to continue the cascading effect in the organizational design along with titles that are reflective of their function. By going with the "YAdventure Guides" theme, it's a small leap to have the Nation change to an Expedition (large and grand). The global unit for all adventures. All Expeditions have leaders (the council) and participants (The small groups -The Adventures - who may strike out from time to time on their own mini adventures as part of the great Expedition, but in time come back to the primary group). Expedition Rendezvous (Nation Events) vs Adventures (Tribal Events).

Conceptualize - if 425 people were to go climb a mountain (The Expedition), they would first form an Expedition Council to plan the global event. They would probably divide into small groups of people with similar interest...explorers, scientist, botanist, geologist...with each group taking small side adventures to do "their thing", periodically returning to the Expedition at a "rendezvous" to present their findings. Each "Adventure" would require leadership of a Commander (Chief - primary leader) and Guides (dads) to keep the Adventurers (kids) on track (in life as well as on the trail).

Attached is my proposed organizational design. What are your thoughts? If you agree please forward to the Council and Chiefs prior to the Base Camp Meeting 2/9.

As always, thanks for all you do,

Morris
